Regional water and wastewater provider seeks civil engineer


South Atlantic Utilities has been designing, installing, acquiring, and operating private water and wastewater systems since 1970. We are headquartered in Savannah and presently own and operate facilities in ten counties in southeast Georgia.

The company seeks an individual with a degree in civil or environmental engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing water and wastewater systems. Candidates must be a registered professional engineer with the ability to become licensed within the State of Georgia within 6 months. Operational experience and licensure to operate water or wastewater systems, business experience, course work, and/or MBA are desired but not mandatory. The position will involve the preparation of construction plans and specifications for water and wastewater systems, construction administration and observation, evaluation of potential acquisitions, and assistance in the day to day administration of the business.
